Finchley Osteopaths in Finchley North London treat back pain, sciatica, neck pain, sport injuries, pain in pregnancy, foot orthotics and many more. We have been caring for patients, their families and friends since 1988. Most of our patients are referred by 'word of mouth' as well as their GPs and Consultants. Our services include private referral for further investigations, eg: MRI scan; X-ray; Ultrasound scan; and blood tests; as well as Orthopaedic opinions.
Consultations are by appoinment only, although we endeavour to see patients on the same day, especially in acute cases.
The practice is conveniently located with ample parking.

The principal Osteopath, Tendy Togelang BSc (Hons) Psych DO (UK), and his colleagues, Camilla Peirse BA (Hons) MOst (UK) and Michael Andreou BSc (Hons) (UK), are all registered with the General Osteopathic Council and are members of the Institute of Osteopathy. All practitioners regularly attend post-graduate courses, seminars, etc. as part of their continuing professional development.
For over 29 years, Tendy has been caring for thousands of patients from the very young to the very old. He trained at the British School of Osteopathy, the oldest and largest school in the UK. He also holds a BSc in Psychology and has completed several post-graduate Acupuncture courses.
The various conditions he treats include: the usual aches and pains; RSI; arthritis; trapped nerves; sports injuries; and neuro-musculo-skeletal pains in pregnancy. If indicated, he uses ultrasound and acupuncture. He advises on diet and posture, as well as prescribing orthotics (foot arch support) and rehabilitative exercises.
During his clinical career Tendy has been on the council of the past British Osteopathic Association (now is the Institute of Osteopathy) and a commitee member of the past General Council and Register of Osteopaths (which is now the General Osteopathic Council).
Camilla gained a Masters in Osteopathic Medicine following a successful career in personal training and sports massage. She has also trained with the British Medical Acupuncture Society and with the Sunderland School of Cranial Osteopathy.
While Camilla treats all age groups and musculo-skeletal conditions, she has a special interest in the care of pregnant mums pre and post-natally.
Camilla's love of of sport gives her a unique advantage when it comes to the diagnosis management of sports people and injuries. For the past 12 months she has assisted in the medical care of some of our 2016 Olympic sprinters.
Michael qualified as an Osteopath following a successful career as a Personal Trainer, Sports Therapist and Biomechanics Specialist. He combines his expertise in these disciplines to treat sports, work or trauma related injuries, to restore function and reduce pain.
Through his career, Michael has lectured in Biomechanics and Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation in Europe and the US. He is also an integral member of the occupational health team at Dorset Fire and Rescue Service and more recently, joined a multi-disciplinary team within the Spire Health Care Private Hospital.
Michael is passionate about helping patients find the cause of their pain and uses a combination of hands-on therapy, acupuncture, corrective exercise and dietary advice to aid recovery. Michael is also dedicated to injury prevention and optimising the performance of his patients.
Alison Hintzen completed her training at the College of Naturopathic Medicine and later at Integrated Body Dynamics Academy & Clinic where she continues to work as a therapist.
She holds ITEC Diplomas Level 3 and level 4 in Massage and Sports Massage. She is also trained in Deep Tissue, Pregnancy Massage, Cupping and Moxibustion Therapy and she is a member of the Complimentary Therapist Association and is fully insured.
Alison has cared for all ages, from young children to the elderly, her eldest client being 87 years of age! She brings warmth and care to everyone and believes that massage should not be seen as a luxury, but as a way of leading a healthy, balanced life and should be accessible to all.
